Services
All consultations are one-on-one, so you’ll always have my full attention, whether I’m working with you directly or taking the time to understand and document your case in detail while you rest. I’m never moving between rooms or treating multiple patients at once.
This approach allows me to provide thoughtful, thorough care, especially where hands-on therapies are an important part of treatment.
Depending on your presentation and preferences, treatments may include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, massage, exercise therapy, practical lifestyle guidance, and where appropriate, patent Chinese herbal formulas.
I’m a degree qualified practitioner, and consultations are eligible for private health fund rebates depending on your level of cover.
New Patients Welcome!
If you’re unsure where to begin, or it’s been a while since your last appointment, feel free to get in touch and I’ll happily help you choose the most appropriate consultation option.

Whether you are a new or existing patient, standard appointments are best suited for patients seeking support for one primary concern, or a focused area of treatment.
Each session includes assessment, hands-on treatment, and treament plan tailored to your primary concern and health goals.
Your care builds over time, with each session adjusted based on your progress and current needs.
At Living Thread Acupuncture, you are always part of the process, with space to discuss how you are feeling, ask questions, and share preferences throughout your care.

These appointments are designed for new or existing patients requiring additional time for support of multiple or more complex concerns.
The extended time allows for a comprehensive assessment, broader evaluation, and treatment plan development that covers multiple concerns where clinically approapriate.

When treatment goals change, care still matters.
This service is available for people living with a life-limiting or terminal diagnosis, as well as those in the later stages of life seeking comfort-focused care.
Care is provided alongside existing medical and palliative care teams and is guided by the individual's needs, priorities, and capacity at the time of treatment.
Charges and appointment times are based on whether you select a Standard Treatment or Complex Care appointment.
SUPPORTIVE CARE DURING ADVANCED ILLNESS
Living with serious illness often brings physical, emotional, and practical challenges that can change over time.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine may be incorporated as part of a broader care plan to assist with comfort, relaxation, and quality of life.
The focus is not on curing illness, but on providing thoughtful care that helps maintain comfort and wellbeing throughout changing circumstances.
WHAT THIS CARE MAY INCLUDE
Treatment may be directed towards concerns such as:
• Pain and physical discomfort
• Fatigue and reduced energy
• Sleep disturbance
• Anxiety, stress, or emotional distress
• Digestive symptoms and changes in appetite
• Muscle tension and general wellbeing
WHAT TO EXPECT
Appointments are unhurried and focused on what is most important to the individual at the time.
Some sessions may focus on easing physical symptoms. Others may simply provide an opportunity to rest, talk, or receive gentle treatment.
Care is always guided by dignity, respect, and attentiveness to the individual's wishes and needs.
If a patient is unable to travel to the clinic, please contact Living Thread Acupuncture to discuss whether alternative arrangements may be possible.
