Traditional Chinese Medicine
That Supports You Through Stress, Pain, Recovery, & Aging.
Feeling exhausted, in pain, or just off… even when you’re told everything is ‘normal’?
You’re not broken. You just need a system that sees you.
Meet Ashley
I’m Ashley Scott, a registered acupuncturist, yoga teacher, and founder of Living Thread Acupuncture in Ballina, serving the Northern Rivers region of NSW.I created Living Thread to be a space where supportive care and meaningful action meet. Where people feel heard and empowered to reconnect with their whole selves. As we move through our 30s and beyond, many people begin to notice changes in how they feel and recover. Stress accumulates. Energy shifts. Pain lingers longer. Burnout becomes harder to ignore. The body asks for a different kind of care.
Through acupuncture, manual therapies, and practical lifestyle guidance, I support adults navigating stress, chronic pain, injury recovery, fatigue, sleep disturbances, anxiety, major organ regulation, and major life transitions.
My goal is to help you restore function, improve quality of life, and feel more at home in your body again.
Care that values quality of life
I believe healthcare should be collaborative, compassionate, and deeply human.
My approach is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and informed by a deep respect for anatomy, physiology, movement, and psycho-emotional health.
Treatment is tailored not only to support the alleviation of symptoms, but to the broader patterns affecting how you feel, function, recover, and move through life.
Whether you’re navigating acute injury or illness, chronic conditions, major life change, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you deserve care that listens carefully and responds thoughtfully.
Because wellbeing isn’t about perfection. It’s about being supported enough to begin.
